There Can Be Only One.
So, this week sees the GIGANTIC debut of one Michael Hyland – wobble-dubstep-fidget extraordinaire and all-round headcase. He recently took part in the Trans Lap-Off competition, making it all the way to the final and narrowly missing out on the number one spot. The night is going to be guaranteed good times. Here Hyland picks out a few tunes that he has been making sweet love to at the minute, and that are likely to get an airing at the club.
“Standing in the Way of Control has become a stone cold dancefloor classic and with this Elite Force mash-up, it’s takes The Gossip’s trademark track and turns it into an absolute banger.”

Elite Force – Control the Engine
“Sweden’s Audiostalkers produce pure party music and this track sums up for me what going out to a club should be – A riotous party.”

“Blau is a song that blows my mind every single time I hear it and I might just play this a good 12 or 13 times on Friday. And here’s some trivia for the day, blau, as well as meaning blue, means to be really, really drunk in German. I expect to see you all going daft and getting blau on Friday.”

Lee Mortimer and Laidback Luke – Blau

Yo! Welcome to the GIGANTIC blog. The primary purpose of this place is to promote music that we’re into, and that we’d like other people to hear too. We want to try and help break new bands and tracks, and also like to dig up old classics that we think need more exposure. Essentially, we want to help makes tunes Gigantic. Of course, we do enjoy throwing out the big pop and electro bangers as well, we’re not music snobs.
