Quick Wee Flashback

This is just a quick wee post with a few of the key tracks from last Friday night. It was a really good night in the club, and there were tons of good requests.
First up is a track that was chosen by Catherine, someone who I haven’t saw down at the club much, but who made this excellent choice. It’s The Faint‘s ‘Adenda Suicide’. I’ve got a lot of time for The Faint and their brand of dark yet funky fired-up post-punk. Had a wee dance to this myself.

This next tune has been kicking around for a while, but it hasn’t got quite as massive as I hoped it would. Still, Nik Bannon knows a good tune when he hears one, and he dug this remix muchly. This is for him.

Uffie Feat. Pharrell Williams – Add Suv (Armand Van Helden Vocal Remix)
The last pick was the choice of Jodie, and quite possibly Julie at the same time. I’ve had this song in my collection for a while, but this was the first time I played it. Works really well in a club, even if it does sound wile similar to ‘Wearing My Rolex’ (which actually mixes really well into it).

More tunes coming soon too, keep ‘em peeled.

Yo! Welcome to the GIGANTIC blog. The primary purpose of this place is to promote music that we’re into, and that we’d like other people to hear too. We want to try and help break new bands and tracks, and also like to dig up old classics that we think need more exposure. Essentially, we want to help makes tunes Gigantic. Of course, we do enjoy throwing out the big pop and electro bangers as well, we’re not music snobs.
