Yo! Welcome to the GIGANTIC blog. The primary purpose of this place is to promote music that we’re into, and that we’d like other people to hear too. We want to try and help break new bands and tracks, and also like to dig up old classics that we think need more exposure. Essentially, we want to help makes tunes Gigantic. Of course, we do enjoy throwing out the big pop and electro bangers as well, we’re not music snobs.

Patrick Wolf – Vulture
I don’t know why, but every time I think of vultures images of The Jungle Book flash through my mind. Talk about childhood imprinting… Anyways, classic animation aside, ‘Vulture’ is actually the new single from gender-bending, avant garde songsmith Patrick Wolf. It’s a collaboration with industrial favouring noisenik Alec Empire. They’re actually a great pairing, and this is a great tune. I caned ‘Accident And Emergency’ (off his last record The Magic Position) at Gigantic when it came out, and still drop it now and again. Maybe this tune will become as regular a fixture. As is the way, there are a few remixes posted up along with the original. Let me know what you think of the tune via comments.
