Panic Dots Post #3
It’s takeover time, once again. Today the Gigantic blog is being dominated by Panic Dots kingpin, Richard Crothers. It’s the first of this weeks takeovers, of which there are likely to be three. He’s chosen some swell tunes, and he also said that if you don’t visit panicdots.com that he will hurt my dog. Don’t let him hurt her! And now it’s over to Rik…

First up is a tune that I think is going to have a massive impact. I’ve played it out a few times and it’s certainly not a floor filler, but I just simply had to drop it because it’s beautiful. Monarchy are two UK-based smooth operators that combine bits of Daft Punk, Scissor Sisters and Air. An awesome combination.

Monarchy – Black, The Colour Of My Heart
Described as the most likeable hipster (I personally don’t like any of them, but that’s because I am fat and don’t look good in skinny jeans) Darwin Deez (pictured) knows how to write a catchy-as-hell track. Listen to ‘Bad Day’ twice and I guarantee you will be singing along. Will defo be playin’ this track a lot. Ch ch check it out!

Okay, last tune. Loving this lyrical electro track. Perfect for the start of the night. It’s pretty feel good and catchy. Loving the Penguin Prison vibe, and their name .

Penguin Prison – A Funny Thing

Yo! Welcome to the GIGANTIC blog. The primary purpose of this place is to promote music that we’re into, and that we’d like other people to hear too. We want to try and help break new bands and tracks, and also like to dig up old classics that we think need more exposure. Essentially, we want to help makes tunes Gigantic. Of course, we do enjoy throwing out the big pop and electro bangers as well, we’re not music snobs.
