Yo! Welcome to the GIGANTIC blog. The primary purpose of this place is to promote music that we’re into, and that we’d like other people to hear too. We want to try and help break new bands and tracks, and also like to dig up old classics that we think need more exposure. Essentially, we want to help makes tunes Gigantic. Of course, we do enjoy throwing out the big pop and electro bangers as well, we’re not music snobs.

New Bicycle Cinema Club
We were just talking about what songs and bands have been turning us on this week. I’ve still been banging on about the new Two Door Cinema Club record Tourist History to anyone who will listen, so I thought it would be a good idea to put one of the album tracks up. Then Kim decided that she wanted to share her love of Bombay Bicycle Club‘s ‘Evening/Morning’ with the world, so that song made its way into the mix.
As that was two bands with Club in their names, we figured it would be a good idea to round off the post wth a third Club-related band moniker. Luckily enough, there was this wicked new remix of New Young Pony Club‘s ‘Chaos’ by Rory Philips that I’d wanted to blog anyway. It rounded this post off beautifully, and made it feel in no way contrived, even though it kinda was in the end.
Anyhoodles, the club is on tonight, like every Friday. If you’re gonna be in Belfast and fancy swinging by, give us a shout and we’ll sort some guest list spots.
