La Musique = La Mazing
For those of who don’t know, La Musique is a club night that takes place every Saturday night in Sandino’s, Derry. It’s always rammed, and the crowd are always up for dancing. The two resident DJs, Dollface and Jean Luc, are great, and really nice guys. They’re kind enough to bring me down for a guest slot every few months. It’s possibly my favourite gig to play because you can cane the heavy beats from start to finish without relenting for a minute.
I was down there again last night, and it was another great night. For me, the turning point came when I dropped Capricorn’s ’20hz’. I wasn’t sure how a bit of old school would go down, but the place went nuts. Loved it. Here is the track if you don’t know it.

I’ve also included a few other tracks that I thoroughly enjoyed spinning.
First up it’s Popof’s ‘Faces ‘Uch’. It’s a total tech-house stomper, and something about it just reels you in. I’ve had it in my collection for ages, but this was the first time I’d played it out. Worked a treat.

And the next one is a new track that I just picked up yesterday, it’s the Apster remix of ‘Told Ya’ by Sandro Silva, and it totally ripped the place too.

Sandro Silva – Told Ya (Apster Remix)
An all round superb night.

Yo! Welcome to the GIGANTIC blog. The primary purpose of this place is to promote music that we’re into, and that we’d like other people to hear too. We want to try and help break new bands and tracks, and also like to dig up old classics that we think need more exposure. Essentially, we want to help makes tunes Gigantic. Of course, we do enjoy throwing out the big pop and electro bangers as well, we’re not music snobs.
