I Want To Be A Part Of It

So, I missed last weeks GIGANTIC because I was away in New York having a wee gallivant. I have it on good authority that the FAUX DJs had a total stormer though, so I’m guessing I wasn’t missed too much.
Inspired by my week in NY, I decided to post up a few New York related songs that aren’t necessarily the most obvious. First up is a track from The Polyamorous Affair. They’re an awesome electro-pop two piece, half of which was once in Chas and Eddie. Oh, and they’re a married couple too. You should get their album Bolshevik Disco, it’s excellent. This is the simply titled ‘New York City’.

This next tune isn’t necessarily about NYC, but it’s about skyscrapers, which is close enough in my book. Oh, and I love OK Go an inhuman amount. I’ve actually been looking to post this song for a while, and this seemed like a great excuse.

And finally, no post on New York would be complete without a bit of LCD Soundsystem, legends that they are.

LCD Soundsystem – New York I Love You, But You’re Bringing Me Down

Yo! Welcome to the GIGANTIC blog. The primary purpose of this place is to promote music that we’re into, and that we’d like other people to hear too. We want to try and help break new bands and tracks, and also like to dig up old classics that we think need more exposure. Essentially, we want to help makes tunes Gigantic. Of course, we do enjoy throwing out the big pop and electro bangers as well, we’re not music snobs.
