Gigantisch Ist Fantastisch

Wee Hannah Lilley. She was a regular at Gigantic for ages, then she had to go off and study in Germany for a year. Pft. Well, she’s back home for a bit, and because we’re such painfully nice people, we’ve decided to dedicate this afternoon’s post to her, in a roundabout way.
The three tracks here are all related to Germany in some fashion. Like this first tune, from Errors. It’s called Germany. I think that’s self-explanatory enough, yes?

And how about Kraftwerk (being remixed by Orbital, just for added sexual electronicness)? They’re German. That’s obvious too.

Kraftwerk – Expo 2000 Orbital Mix
This last one is a bit of a sneaky one. It’s a track by Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, which is the brainchild of ace producer Riton. He’s not German to be honest, he just gave his project a German name. It does have a very German sound though, not to mention the fact that it’s brilliant (go buy the whole album now).

And we’re done. Feel free to post any of your own Germanic suggestions below.
The guest list for the club tonight is open too, so holla our way if you would like on.

Yo! Welcome to the GIGANTIC blog. The primary purpose of this place is to promote music that we’re into, and that we’d like other people to hear too. We want to try and help break new bands and tracks, and also like to dig up old classics that we think need more exposure. Essentially, we want to help makes tunes Gigantic. Of course, we do enjoy throwing out the big pop and electro bangers as well, we’re not music snobs.
