Yo! Welcome to the GIGANTIC blog. The primary purpose of this place is to promote music that we’re into, and that we’d like other people to hear too. We want to try and help break new bands and tracks, and also like to dig up old classics that we think need more exposure. Essentially, we want to help makes tunes Gigantic. Of course, we do enjoy throwing out the big pop and electro bangers as well, we’re not music snobs.

Love it or hate it, ‘Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell’, was an infectious novelty record that may leave you thinking Das Racist had very little else to offer, but with the release of their new album, ‘Sit Down, Man’, Das Racist have proven otherwise. Expect guest appearances from the likes of Jay-Z and guest production all over the record including an appearance from Diplo which all adds up to a package which is anything but a novelty.

Das Racist – Puerto Rican Cousins
LA two-piece No Age are back with a new album and a new sound. The album is far breezier and open than the kinetic frenzy of the debut, Weirdo Rippers, and instead decides to finish what their second LP, Nouns, had started and create an album of pretty, reverb drenched tracks. There are still a few screamers you can kick out to though with the highlight being ‘Fever Dreaming.’

After years of anticipation, UK producer Gold Panda has finally released his debut LP, Lucky Shiner, a dreamy landscape of his sampled based production. If you are a fan of Daedelus or Flying Lotus, check it out.
